We saw from David’s prayer in 1 Chronicles 29:11; that everything belongs to God, comes from God, and is dispensed by God. so, if that be true, what then should be the one thing that governs our approach to money? How would you summarize David’s mindset about money? If you want to replicate his perspective in your own life, what should your main objective be?

As I think about that prayer, two words come to mind: Honor God. (proverbs 3:9)

Those two words encapsulate all the things David declared about his riches. If you were to pursue only one goal for everything you possess, this should be it. Honor God. Serve that single objective and everything else automatically falls into place.
